Luis and Courtney’s intimate wedding just outside of New York City felt less like a beginning and more like a meaningful continuation of everything they had already built together. Because of that, their micro wedding felt deeply intentional from start to finish. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they chose to keep the celebration intimate, relaxed, and focused on what mattered most.

The wedding took place at The Clubhouse in Montclair, New Jersey, a space that immediately set the tone for the day. The venue had a modern atmosphere with a darker, moody aesthetic that worked beautifully for an intimate wedding celebration. Exposed architectural details, including concrete block walls and visible ceiling piping, gave the space an industrial character. Meanwhile, the warm lighting softened the edginess and overall feel of the venue.

The ceremony, while laidback, held the attention of everyone present. Throughout it, the couple chose several friends and family members to share their words. This included excerpts of literature, poetry, and the full story of Luis and Courtney. It was truly a unique experience, and the emotion was steady and genuine.

After the ceremony, the celebration flowed naturally into the reception. Guests stayed close, moving easily between conversations. The lighting in the space became even more moody as the day went on, creating a warm glow against the darker textures of the venue. As a result, it gave every photo a cinematic feel.

To Courtney and Luis:
Thank you for hosting such an intentional wedding day and allowing me to be a part of it.
