I'm Jake McAnally — a photographer based in Cincinnati, Ohio, specializing in weddings, portraits, and editorial photography.

I grew up with a camera in my hand and a deep appreciation for genuine, unguarded moments. I studied at the University of Mississippi, where I developed my eye shooting sports, campus life, and everything in between. That background in fast-moving, real-life documentary photography is the foundation of how I shoot weddings today.

HOW I WORK:

I'm not a "line everyone up and say cheese" photographer. Thought there's a time and place for it, I'm more interested in what happens when people forget the camera is there. My job is to earn your trust early in the day so that by the ceremony and reception, you're not thinking about me at all — you're just living it, and I'm capturing it.

I shoot weddings and engagements across Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and I'm always up for travel. I've shot in Oxford, Mississippi; the Ohio River Valley; and destinations in between.
